On July 13, 2009, Tessoro at Las Conchas was featured for the second consecutive year at the Scottsdale Area Association of Realtors (SAAR) Annual Expo event. This year’s Expo was held at the J.W. We sometimes think everyone in Puerto Peñasco has visited Tessoro by now…. Much to my surprise, many of the prominent local business people have not seen us. On June 17th, I invited to the development Antonio Bellot (ship builder), Jose”Mono” Nacias (who owns several variety stores here), Notario’s Oswaldo Ortega and Armando Rameriz, Alberto Gallardo (builder and property management), Margarita Diaz (LC water company) and Oscar Palacio Soto (President of the Office of Conventions and Visitors as well as owner of Playa Bonita Hotel and RV Resort). Tessoro Supports Rocky Point Environmental Education Initiative

Tessoro at Las Conchas was a sponsor of the CEDO-organized 2009 Environmental Contest. This contest was organized to help local children learn about environmental conservation in Puerto Peñasco.

Over 150 students from all education levels in Rocky Point had the opportunity to obtain a deeper understanding of the migratory birds which visit local estuaries each year and of the importance these ecosystems have along their migratory routes. Read more

Many Americans are surprised to hear that Cinco de Mayo is not a particularly important holiday in Mexico. It has been more of an American holiday celebrated in the United States among the Mexican-American population in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
