This Memorial Day, we continue a proud tradition on the Las Conchas Peninsula. For a third consecutive year, we will gather with family and friends, owners and esteemed guests, to celebrate the official start of Summer.

This year, with the resort delivered and owners living in their beachfront condominium residences, the event will take on a different flavor. Tessoro at Las Conchas at the Arizona Cardinals Golf Tournament

The Arizona Cardinals held their annual Celebrity Golf Classic in Phoenix on May 3, raising money for the Arizona Cardinals Charities. This year, Tessoro at Las Conchas was among the event’s supporters. The Peninsula de Cortes Golf Course and Brenda Lee Design all played a role as sponsors.

Tessoro at Las Conchas sponsored two holes at the event, running a closest-to-the-pin contest on each of the event’s golf courses. The prize was a luxury vacation at Tessoro’s award-winning beachfront condominium residences in Puerto Peñasco. Read more

Tessoro at Just Fore Kids Golf Tournament

Tessoro at Las Conchas continued its mission of supporting worthy causes in the Arizona market on Wednesday, April 21, raising over $2,000 in the Just Fore Kids Golf Tournament at Silverado Golf Course in Scottsdale.

Tessoro sponsored a Closest to the Pin Contest at hole number 8 and donated the featured live auction item – a vacation at Puerto Peñasco’s (Rocky Point’s) finest beachfront resort offering a week on the Las Conchas Peninsula. The package included spa services at Tessoro, concierge service, golf and more. Tessoro’s boutique resort offers a variety of services. Residents of the full-ownership beachfront condominium residences in Las Conchas have a lifestyle like no other. Read more

Event Supports the Indigenous Cooperatives of Las Conchas’

The Las Conchas Peninsula was alive with the sights and smells of fresh-cooked fish, ceviche and oysters on Saturday, April 10. In a show of support for Las Conchas’ first residents and the sustainability efforts of CEDO, Tessoro and its owners invited the NaturArte Cooperatives to hold a special seafood market at the resort. All proceeds went to support the cooperatives and their families.

The NaturArte Cooperatives have fished, farmed and cultivated mariscos on the Morua Estuary since long before the American and Canadian tourists arrived. They were Las Conchas’ original residents and pioneers. In the years since, Puerto Peñasco and the Las Conchas neighborhood have grown quickly. CEDO has organized the 3 primary cooperatives into the NaturArte Ecotourism Corridor. This allows these indigenous residents to participate in the benefits of tourism and maintain their lifestyles. Tessoro Continues Support for Arizona Children’s Causes

Boys & Girls Club Gala in Scottsdale March 20, 2010

Puerto Peñasco’s finest beachfront resort, Tessoro at Las Conchas, recently raised $3,300 for the Boys & Girls Club of Scottsdale. At the Scottsdale Resort on Saturday, March 20, the Boys & Girls Club held its annual Celebrate Youth Dinner & Auction, featuring the Youth of the Year Awards. Tessoro was proud to be featured in a live auction at the gala dinner.

The Boys & Girls Club supports over 16,000 youths between the ages of 6 and 18 in several clubhouses in the Eastern Valley. The organization operates with an emphasis on outreach to teens, gender inclusion and family involvement. The continuation of these important activities is funded in large part by fundraising events like the Celebrate Youth Dinner. Read more

Heroes for Children Event February 20

Tessoro at Las Conchas raised $5000 for children’s causes and the JCC along with Brenda Lee designs in the Heroes for Children Gala on February 20, 2010 at the Biltmore Ritz-Carlton Hotel. The event was organized by the Valley of the Sun JCC and honored Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver. Steve Nash, the suns Gorilla and comedian Howie Mandel were among the high-profile guests, presenters and performers. Read more

Sports Talk Radio Personality Broadcasts Live from Tessoro

Tessoro had a nice surprise last weekend when Ray Adams of The Fan 1060 AM in Phoenix broadcast his show live from the Las Conchas Peninsula!

Mr. Adams hosts the Great American Golf show on Saturdays and a weekday golf and lifestyle show on the drive home from 6-7pm. Mr. Adams stayed in Jade Residence 404 and set up his mobile radio equipment by Tessoro’s Gym and Spa on Saturday morning, January 30th. Read more

The Christmas season has come and gone in Las Conchas and we are now into a new year. Hopefully 2010 will bring good health and prosperity to all of us. The week between Christmas and New Year’s Rocky Point saw a lot of people back in town, which certainly did stimulate the economy.

The Christmas season in Mexico is filled with so much tradition, including the annual series of “Posadas” (Christmas shelters where celebrations are held). Around the 15th of December, my neighbors here in Puerto Peñasco all start with the Posadas every night. Read more

Salt Lake City to Tucson to Rocky Point

Happy New Year Friends of Tessoro from all of us in sales at the award-winning, “over-the-top” condominium development out on the secluded Las Conchas peninsula. I returned to Puerto Peñasco on January 8 after spending a month in Salt Lake City where I live when not enjoying my time spent in our second favorite “home.” It’s great to be so close to skiing and our friends in Utah, but just as great to come back to the warmth of the Sea of Cortez and Rocky Point’s unbelievable beaches and natural beauty (and amazing real estate). On Saturday, November 21, 2009, Boys & Girls Club of Tucson 29th annual Holiday Auction. Tessoro donated a one-week vacation in Puerto Peñasco for 4-6 guests to stay at Rocky Point’s finest resort on the epic stretch of real estate on the Las Conchas Peninsula, helping to raise significant funds for the charity. This marks the Fifth Boys and Girls Club event where Tessoro has participated. Tessoro has made it a company policy to support a variety of charitable groups in the markets where its owners live.
