Tessoro at Las Conchas continues its commitment to support worthy causes in its key markets in the United States. On September 10, 2009, Tessoro donated a week-long vacation that was a featured live auction piece at the Flavors of Tucson charity fundraiser. Tessoro is proud to share that it raised $1,800 for the American Liver Foundation and sparked quite a bidding war between three philanthropists!

Flavors of Tucson is one of the culinary events of the year in Tucson, where celebrity chefs from all over the city and elsewhere in Arizona meet to provide special dinners to a small table of donors in support of this worthy medical cause. Each chef serves multiple courses, each pared with wine, to their personal table of 8-12 guests.

The event was held in the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Oro Valley. Tessoro has been a strong supporter of the Mayo Clinic and American Liver Foundation activities, donating to the Flavors of Phoenix event last spring and raising over $2300. The American Liver Foundation’s mission is to facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. Tessoro is proud to count among its owners two distinguished medical doctors.
