Tessoro at Las Conchas Supports Miracle League of Arizona

Puerto Peñasco’s Most Wheelchair Friendly Resort Continues Community Commitment

Tessoro at Las Conchas joined the Arizona Diamondbacks to support the Miracle League of Arizona at its August 13 fundraiser in Scottsdale. Tessoro raised hundreds of dollars with the donation of a vacation at the resort, which was purchased by an Arizona couple. Tim Smart represented Tessoro at the event, held at Ladlow’s Furniture in Scottsdale.

Tessoro is the most wheelchair accessible and disability friendly development in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora (Rocky Point). With private elevator access to every unit, special disability architectural packages, ramps throughout the resort and sensitive design, Tessoro shows its commitment to making this a development that is open to everyone. Tessoro has also shown its commitment by remaining active in the United States. Tessoro was a proud sponsor of the 2008 Paralympic Trials and has been a supporter of AZ Disabled Sports. The development will continue its commitment in the coming years. Tessoro is particularly proud to support the Miracle League. The Miracle League of Arizona removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field and enables them to fully enjoy America’s favorite pastime. A barrier for these children arises from the natural grass fields used in conventional youth leagues, Miracle League teams play on a specially designed, rubberized turf field that accommodates wheelchairs, walkers and is designed to help prevent injuries and promote fun!
